The frame is made of O Matter polymer, which is lightweight and resistant to stress and chemical exposure. The open-frame design does not restrict the field of view. The interchangeable lenses are made of Plutonite, a specialized type of polycarbonate.
The materials used meet the requirements of the ANSI Z87.1-2003/2010 and MIL PRF-31013 ballistic standards. The nose pads feature hydrophilic Unobtainium material, which keeps the goggles in the correct position even on damp skin. The lenses utilize High Definition Optics technology with Polaric Ellipsoid geometry, which eliminates image distortion across the entire field of view.
The lenses block UVA and UVB ultraviolet radiation as well as blue light with wavelengths up to 400 nm. The surface of the lenses is coated with an anti-fog treatment to prevent fogging. The set, enclosed in a rigid polymer case, includes a clear visor and a Prizm Grey tinted visor with 17% visible light transmittance, designed for use in bright light conditions and to enhance environmental contrast.
The low-profile frame design allows for the simultaneous use of hearing protection systems and communication sets. The temple design ensures compatibility with helmet-mounted night vision devices and MICH, ACH, CVC, and PASGT standard helmets. The lens mounting mechanism allows for very quick, tool-free lens replacement depending on prevailing lighting conditions.
