The frames of these ballistic glasses are made of a polymer with high resistance to mechanical damage and chemical exposure. The flexible rubber nose pads prevent the frames from slipping off the face, maintaining a secure fit even in conditions of increased skin moisture. The use of thin, flat temples makes it easy to wear the glasses simultaneously with over-the-ear hearing protectors and communication systems.
The visor is made of optical polycarbonate, which eliminates image distortion across the entire field of view. The tinted visor, with a visible light transmittance of 17%, is designed for conditions of strong sunlight while maintaining color neutrality and natural contrast. The visor filters out 100% of UVA and UVB radiation up to a wavelength of 400 nm.
The outer layer of the visor is coated with a scratch-resistant coating, and the inner side is coated with an anti-fog coating.
